‘Wednesday Mummy and Baby Group’
Come along to our weekly group and meet other mummies and babies.
Our sessions start with circle time so you can get to know everyone, we spend about 30 minutes in circle time doing some baby massage to relax and bond, some stretches and baby yoga to boast circulation and help with growth and development, we sing songs and have lots of fun.
We then offer the opportunity for mums to ask questions and gain support and we cover a variety of topics from, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, weaning, returning to work, sleep patterns, settling techniques, fun things to do with your baby, we will also offer baby weighing!!
These sessions are run by Emeline, antenatal teacher, birth and postpastum doula, baby massage and yoga teacher trainer and breastfeeding counsellor and Krystal a Naturopathic Doctor and breastfeeding counsellor and together we have over 20 years experience, plus we are both mothers.
Our groups are supportive within a naturing non judgmental environment where everyone is welcome.
Refreshments and healthy homemade cakes and biscuits are served.
These sessions run every Wednesday morning during term time.
Time: 11am – 12.30pm (please come at 11am and join in our circle time)
Baby Yoga and Post Natal Yoga Workshops
A great fun session combining baby yoga and postnatal yoga, suitable for babies from 8 weeks to early crawlers.
Drinks and homemade cakes are served at the end of each session

Sleep, Settle and Soothe Workshop
A wonderful one hour session combining massage, yoga, reflexology and settling holds. We will discuss calming and soothing techniques to relax and calm baby and also bedtime routines.
A bottle of organic baby massage oil and a handout on the session will be provided.
At the end of the session drinks and homemade cakes will be served.
The Sleep Doctor
An in depth talk on the science behind babies sleep patterns by Dr Krystal Silva, mother of two girls and specialist in post natal care.
If some of the questions below apply to you then please come and join us. We will also show you practical tips through settling holds, contact with baby, relaxing their digestive system and ways to help avoid over stimulation.
Some of the Questions we will cover:
Have you ever wondered how much sleep babies should have?
Why do some babies sleep so much and others not?
When do babies sleep through the night?
How can I help my baby settle with another care giver?
How can I encourage self settling?
How can I encourage an independent sleeper?
How do I tell if my baby is over tired or if they are over stimulated?
How do I set a bed time routine that will work for baby?
At the end of the class we will have an open question and answer session along with healthy snacks and drinks. Handouts will also be provided.
Fun with First Foods
A Stress-free Approach to Starting Solids:
Come learn about the when, why, what and how of introducing solid foods. We will discuss philosophy of feeding as well as what foods to introduce first, how to prepare baby foods, how to reduce the risk of allergy, and what feeding supplies you’ll need. Recommended age range of babies is 4-6 months or anyone considering starting or struggling with solids. Babies welcome to attend to.
Play mat with toys will be out for your babies.
A handout on the talk will be provided along with light refreshments.

Get Ready for Birth Couples Workshop
A wonderful four hour intensive Ante Natal Workshop preparing couples for labour, birth and the first few hours with your newborn baby. In this workshop we will focus on practical tips to help you through labour, birth and the early post partum stage and how partners can be involved and feel supported. We will cover: Hospital Essentials, Birth Plan, Positions for Labour and Birth, Natural Pain Relief, Options for Third Stage, Welcoming your Baby, Early Post Partum. These workshops are a great opportunity for you to gain support and also meet other expectant couples. The workshop is run by Emeline Hare, Ante Natal Educator, Yoga Instructor, Birth and Post Partum Doula and Breastfeeding Counsellor and Krystal Silva, Naturopathic Doctor with years of experience in Post Partum Healing.
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided as well as handouts on the topics covered.

Mummy to be Workshop
This workshop is specifically designed to give expecting mummy’s top tips for birth as well as offering practical and emotional advice for labour, birth and the early weeks with a newborn; including feeding, sleep and routines. We will talk about the changes in the body after birth and how to aid postpartum healing.
This session is also a great way to meet other expecting mothers.
Healthy snacks, drinks and handouts will be provided.
